Common questions
How often are the rates updated?
Once each working day. Rates come from central banks and other official sources through Frankfurter. mCurrency shows daily rates, not live market prices.
Why is the rate different from my bank?
mCurrency shows reference rates. Banks and money changers add their own margin and fees, so the rate you get will be a little different.
Are the gold and silver prices exact?
No. Metal prices are for reference only and should not be used for trading.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. The app keeps the last rates it downloaded and uses them until you are back online.
How do I add or remove a currency?
Tap + to add a currency or a metal. To remove or reorder, go to Settings → Edit Currencies. The first currency in the list is the base currency.
Does mCurrency collect my data?
No. See the Privacy Policy.
