mTranslate does not collect, store or share any personal information. There is no account, no sign-in, no ads and no tracking.

None. mTranslate does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or any other personal details.
The text you translate
mTranslate uses Apple's built-in translation and voices. The text is translated and read aloud on your Mac. It is not sent to us or to any other service. mTranslate only reads the text you copy before you open it, or the text you send to it from the right-click menu. Text copied by a password manager is never read.
Language downloads
The first time you use a language, macOS downloads it from Apple. This is handled by macOS, not by mTranslate. Only the language is downloaded; your text is not sent.
Data on your Mac
Your settings (languages, voice, open at login) are saved only on your Mac. This data never leaves your Mac and is removed if you delete the app.
Ads and tracking
mTranslate has no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
Children
mTranslate is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
